麻醉中可能发生的事(What may happen during anesthesia)
手术前在手术之前，你的麻醉医师或麻醉护士会询问你的医疗、手术、麻醉和用药历史，以及你个人对麻醉方式的偏好，请你完整并诚实地回答。你的答复将有助于手术时麻醉方法的决定。麻醉医师亦可能会安排你做些其它的检验。特别重要的是，您应该主动告知最近所服用的所有药物，包括一切从〝保养〞药物到如普遍阿司匹林等等医师指示用药。请千万不要以为你的麻醉医师或麻醉护士都已经知道。(请参阅这本小册子的麻醉前检查表)
我们会请你签署一份同意书，表示同意进行手术和麻醉，这份同意书是手术麻醉上的重要文件，请你审慎阅读后签署。
麻醉中手术前特定时间内请物进食，这是非常重要的，其目的减少骨中的食物量，以避免在麻醉中呕吐，甚至将食物吸入肺内。我们也会告知你在手术前，是否应停乙习惯性的药物治疗。
手术中
你的麻醉医师或麻醉护士在整个手术中都会照顾保护你，控制着麻醉的深度，并确保你在每个步骤都是安全、舒适而且不感觉疼痛。
在手术进行中，我们会一直监控你的生命迹象，包括脉抟、血压、体温、吸入氧气量及呼二氧化碳量。
手术后
麻醉医师与麻醉护士会护送你到麻醉后照护中心(PACU)，并转由麻醉科的PACU工作人员照顾你，直到你恢复意识。我们会持续监控你的生命迹象，给予氧气和要求你咳嗽及深呼吸。根据你的状况给予止痛药物治疗；因为研究发现，在PACU喊痛的病人，到病房后较容易感觉疼痛，所以我们建议在PACU就安排病人接受病人自控式止痛法(详见〝特别的服务〞说明)
在PACU观察一段时间后，当你呼吸恢复顺畅，麻醉医师或麻醉护士觉得你可以时，若你是住院病人会送你回病房；若你是门诊病人便会安排你出院。

Before surgery, your anesthesiologist or anaesthetic the nurse will ensure your medical service, the surgery, the anaesthesia and medicine history, as well as your anaesthetic choice. Please replied completely and honestly. Your answer will be helpful for the anesthetic decision during surgery. Anesthesiologist also possibly arrange you to make other examination. More importantly, you should inform all medicines which recently took, including all from of the healthy food to prescriptive formula. Do not think you anesthesiologist or anaesthetic nurses all already know. (Please refer this booklet before anaesthesia )
We can ask you to sign an agreement book, indicated the surgery and the anaesthesia agreement.This agreement book is an important document. Please carefully read and sign it.
Before the surgery , please keep nothing by mouth to avoid vomiting during anesthesia, even aspiration pneumonia. We also inform you should regular medicine treatment before surgery.
During surgery
Your anesthesiologist or anaesthetic nurse will take care of you during entire surgery., control depth of anesthesia, and ensure each step is safe, comfortable and without pain.
During the surgery, we will monitor your vital sign, blood pressure, body temperature, oxygen and carbon dioxide inspiration quantity.
After surgery
Anesthesiologist and the anesthetic nurse will sent you to the post anesthetic care unit , and transfers by the PACU staff to take care of you until recovery consciousness . We will continue monitor your vital sign, give oxygen and request you to cough and deep breath. Giving analgesic drug according to your condition; Because of research discovery, the patient shrieks with pain in PACU is easier feeling pain after the hospital ward. Therefore we arragne patient receive patient control analgesia in PACU. After Observe a period of time in the PACU, when you breathes smoothly, anesthesiologist or anaesthetic nurse will sent you to the hospital ward; If you are the outpatient then can arrange you to leave the hospital. 你的这段介绍的话很好，如果我们麻醉医师术前访视病人时就能够详细地和病人说明这些情况，一定能够减轻病人的焦虑和紧张，可是很多时候我们都偷懒了！
