answer to case: CHD/ToF complication after surgery

It was found after the surgery that the RVP, MPAP and ABP were 76/3 (33) mmHg, 51/18 (27) mmHg and 79/55 (65) mmHg respectively (i.e. RVP and MPAP were markedly elevated). After much investigation, the complication was found to be a simple one. Earlier the pulmonary artery had been clamped. After the procedure was completed, the surgeon forgot for a moment to remove the clamp. Hence resulting in increased RVP, MPAP. Once the arterial clamp was removed, the RVP, MPAP and ABP were measured as 60/0 (23) mmHg, 35/18 (22) mmHg and 80/55 (63) mmHg respectively. Hence, the problem was solved.
