标题: FRCA short case
An 8-year-old is admitted unconscious into A&E following a road traffic accident in which he sustained an open compound tibia/fibula fracture.

- Describe your management.
- What investigations would you perform?
- His CT shows cerebral oedema only. Orthopaedic surgeons want to take him to theatre to repair his fracture. How would you anaesthetise him?

Always ABC and GCS first. If vital is stable, go for the blood work and image to rule our other injuries (brain, abd, lung and other bone). if it is unstable, starts with fluids resuscitation. If GCS is low, consider intubation immediately.
Surgery must be started when no other injuries and hemodynamic stable, general anes is better.
