Developement Vision for the specialty of anesthesiology in China, as set by the 10th Committee meeting of China Medical Association division of anesthesia :
To be the main department in promoting the developement of "Comfort Medical Care" ;
to be the key department in ensuring the safety of medical practice ;
to be the pivotal department in increasing the efficiency of the functions of hospital;
to be the central department in coordinating the relationship among all other departments;
to be a well recognized department , and is accepted as an important department in the community and among the public.
