　　This 3D medical animation on GERD Surgery shows how the upper portion of the stomach is wrapped around the lower esophagus to strengthen the cardiac sphincter of the stomach. This helps prevent GERD (gastroesophageal reflux disease), or heartburn. Hiatal hernia repair is also depicted.
