On SaturdayDec. 20, 2014, I got up around 03:30 am to set up all details for delivery of alecture "Patient Safety & Risk Management in Anesthesiology" toour Chinese colleagues, through theChinese “新青年网络公开讲课” on YY-語音平台. After several conversations back and forthwith the facilitator Dr. 吴若兰(小麻仙),and the technology team, the lecture started exactly at 04:30 am PST/ BeijingTime 08:30 pm. The program spent more than three hours and finished over 08:00 am PST, while it’s over11:00 pm in China. I am indelibly impressed by their learning passions from audience, and the serious attitude fromthe workers of the group (新青年网络).

The web lecture is organized by the group of “新青年麻醉大讲堂”, led by their founder 祥子(周祥勇) who is well-known among our CASA members. They also invited Professor 朱斌 from PUMC (協和醫院) as my lecturemoderator, who is in charge of theirdepartmental QA. He contributed all valuable points and his professionalexperiences to me and the audience.
