1 Qualifications for application
Students may join the course as either active or passive participants. The active participants will present PowerPoint versions of original scientific research papers and take an active role in discussing them. They may submit a draft of their own proposed paper in English for selection to Trainee grade. Trainees will have their course fees waived and receive constructive training in writing papers in scientific English suitable for publication in International Journals.
A. Trainee and Active Participant
1. Master’s Degree or Doctoral Students
2. Submit your own paper (about vascular biology underlying cerebral oedema) in English
3. Fluent verbal communication in English
4. The best 6 will be enrolled as Trainees
B. Passive participant (Listener)
1. Master’s Degree or Doctoral Students
2. All will be enrolled
2 Tuition fees
The course will be free for those selected to be trainees, but they must pay the travel and living expenses during the training themselves. The one judged the best will be supported to apply for a scholarship to take a doctoral course at King's College London.
For all other participants: RMB 300 / person, and pay travel and living expenses during the training themselves.
