The inaugural issue of the Journal of Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine (JAPM) will be released and available online on September, with important inaugural editorials by the co-editors-in-chief and invited experts from around the world and other articles focus on perioperative organ protection.

JAPM is an international peer-reviewed open-access journal dedicated to bring clinical anesthesiologists the best research and key information in all fields of anesthesiology on the basis of scientific accuracy, novelty, and importance, and to present the information in an understandable and clinically useful format.

JAPM is going to be published bimonthly in both print and online versions, most articles will be published online first on its website at www.japmnet.com, before they appear in a regular issue of the journal. There are no submission fees, no publication or author fees for at least the first three volumes of JAPM, and after publication, all the online articles are freely available to all.
