CRNA in use is high demanding job. they are well trained in all aspects. first of all, they are register nurse with 4 years college degree. some of them even have other majors also. second, they have to have 12 month ICU experiences. Third, they have to study anesthesia for a master degree. then finally they have to complish 18 months residency programs off lot working with anesthesia resident. with all those study and training, CRNA is well qualified for their job. if we simplify the course of study and training, I would say we are cultivating a crisis. fairly to say, CRNA accepts the equivalent medical education and training as lots of medical students in china.
